Dresden was completelly destroyed during the night between the 13 and 14 february 1945 but it was totally rebuilt. The historical center is not very big. You can't miss the cathedral, the Zwinger(inside a very beautiful exibition of chineese porcelains), the Opera house, Japaneese Palace. If you like the cheese you can't miss the Pfund dairy market. Not very cheap(touristic site) but you can find really a lot of kind of cheese.INTERNET in Dresden :price is around 2 euros per hour.

    PRAHA

    THE TOWN:
Prague is a very beautiful and alive town. It's like a fantasy town. You'l feel the medieval atmosphere.Every sign of the past is in perfect condition or very well restored.A 3 days Bus/metro ticket is 220 kr (around 7.5 euros).Public trasportation works well.Praha by night is an experience you can't miss! During the evening in fact Praha is also very alive. Many restaurants and pubs.Tourists from all over the world.

UNDERGROUND :it works well. 3 days ticket 220 Kcz. Full of pickpockets.Anybody too close to you could be a pickpocket. They use to "work"in couple.

SHOPPING: Generally is as expansive as West Europe and the quality is not good. If you want good quality it's even more expansive. At the moment Shopping is just for the rich people (few) and for tourists so...everything is expansive.

Food - Credit Card - Internet
    FOOD:
Hot dog anywhere you can eat and drink with 3/5 euros. At the restaurant between 9 and 18 euros for a nice diner.Nothing better than a good hot chocolat and a pancacke or a strudel, in the middle of the day...just to recover the energy after a long walk...7.5 euros .A bit expansive for Praha but the waiter was a so beautiful girl :0) !You cannot also miss the food in some historical restaurant of the old town. U Zlatého jablka (www.pmz-gastro.cz) .Medieval place underground.Friendly people.Goulash and potatos plus 1 coke(terrible I know but I don't like alchol that much :o).The goulash was very good.Friday night(08.20 p.m.)Wait 17 minutes.Price 345 Kr(around 13 euros).

    CREDIT CARDS:
Accepted in most of the places but they use to charge 4/5% of "commissions"..

    INTERNET:
Not too difficult to find some Internet Cafes in the centre of the old town.
Price is around 2 euros per hour.Tourists are just "banks" so don't go in any place where you can't see the rates and always ask to confirm the rates you read. That's for all...not just for the internet cafes
