January 20 Ottawa...a very nice Town! :o)January 16 The "Bad and the Good" BronxTake the underground till the end (Around 50 minutes from Times Square) and you'll get Pelham Bay. You are in the Bronx. Bronx has 2 sides. The residential and nice area with beautifuo houses in wood like City Island and the sadly famous for the high criminality rate and the ugly building South Bronx (3rd Avenue) . Honestelly if I lived there and in those conditions I should be angry too!!!...I see a child who grow up there and just 20 miles from there....the children of the VIP of Manhattan with all the conforts!!
January 14 New York: Rich is....better!!!!The Bronx. Sadly famous for the high criminality rate. There are 2 Bronx. The nice one and the bad one. The first one (the nice) is a very nice area, close to the water. A residential place with beautiful houses in wood. The second one (the bad) seems abandoned by the police and the government . You feel scary when you walk around. People have nothing to do with the people that live in Manhattan. The crazy thing is that if you have a house in Bronx you pay the same property taxes you pay in the 5th avenue in Manhattan!!! January 13 Welcome to NEW YORK!!!Rome Fiumicino Airport. Looking for an info point…Dam…no open info point…ops..I see a Virtual info point…thanks Hitech but…no way…even the Virtual Info Point is out of order so…I need a phone…finally I find 3…Lucky cause 1 of the 3 work… :o)
Rome-Paris (air France) The flight was a little bit late (30 mintes)…not too bad…but…upon I arrived to Charles de Gaule Airport…just before the police control…oops…Terrorism alarm!!!...It’s the new “fashion”!!---someone forgot his lugguage and …police evaquate all the area….Traveling is stressfull…hundreds controls and now…lateagain because of the…”bomb”…of course it was just a forgotten lugguage but all the plains were delayed!... Arrival to New York. Take the air train ( 5 U$ that you’ll pay to the last station) to Jamaica Station (around 20 minutes from the terminal. Then I bought the 1 week metro/bus pass (24 US$) . From Jamaica Station to Times Square it takes around 40 minutes by Subway (Blue Line) January 08 New Adenture is coming...Here I am again. Next stops: New York, Montreal, Ottawa, Argentina, Perù, Chile, Bolivia.... Tomorrow Wake up at 07.00. Flight for Roma. The day after Flight for Paris-New York...Straight to the cold!!! :o) |
